SIEM REAP, Cambodia, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia's economy grew by 7.2 percent in 2014, driven by garment exports, agriculture, tourism and construction, Prime Minister Hun Sen said Wednesday.
"Cambodia achieved the economic growth of 7.2 percent in 2014 and is predicted to maintain the growth of at least 7 percent in 2015," he said during the opening ceremony of the World Conference on Tourism and Culture here.
"This optimistic economic growth clearly reflects the progress in the growth-supported sectors such as agriculture, tourism, garments and construction," he said.
The prime minister said the Southeast Asian nation attracted 4. 5 million international tourists last year, generating a gross revenue of more than 3 billion U.S. dollars.
