PARIS, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- French Foreign Minister LaurentFabius condemned Saturday afternoon "in the firmest terms" theshooting attack that targeted a meeting in Copenhagen attended byAmbassador of France to Denmark Francois Zimeray.
According to information of French media, dozens of shots werefired Saturday afternoon in Copenhagen against a building whichhosted a debate on Islam and freedom of expression.
One unidentified man was reportedly killed, while threepolicemen were injured.
French President Francois Hollande said Saturday that the FrenchInterior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve will visit "as soon as possibleCopenhagen".
According to the statement of Hollande's office, the Frenchpresident confirmed France's ambassador to Denmark was not hurtduring the shooting.
